Lorraine Cavanagh

 

Lorraine Cavanagh is a theologian and an Anglican priest. Before her ordination she was an established painter with successful solo exhibitions in London. She then completed a doctorate at Cambridge University. Since her ordination in 2003 she has been Anglican Chaplain to Cardiff University and Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge. She was also part-time tutor in Christian Spirituality at St. Michael's College, Llandaff. She is married to theatre designer Sean Cavanagh and lives and works in South Wales in the Monmouthshire countryside.

 

She is the author of  Re-Building the Ruined Places (Ameo Books), In Such Times (Cascade - WIPF & Stock ), Waiting on the Word (DLT), Beginning Again (Ameo Books), Finding God in Other Christians (SPCK), Making Sense of God's Love: Atonement and Redemption (SPCK), By One Spirit: Reconciliation and Renewal in Anglican Life (Peter Lang),  The Really Useful Meditation Book (Hodder Headline), and translated from the French He Took me by the Hand  (New City)
