Happy are those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path that sinners tread, or sit in the seat of scoffers; but their delight is in the law of the Lord.  They are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season, and their leaves do not wither. Happy are those whose lives are not governed by trend and fashion, whose tastes

are not dictated by the media, or by those they are trying to impress, or even by the

religious attitudes with which they have felt comfortable for years. 

 

Happy are those who dare to move on. 

 

Happy are those who resist the temptation to walk down the paths of current thinking, simply because it is current. 

 

Happy are those who, having committed their way to God, stand as persons in their own right and respect all people who speak the truth and behave with integrity.  Happy are those who are able to proclaim that truth out of a pure heart in every walk of modern life.  They are like trees planted by streams of water . . . In all that they do they prosper, for inwardly they are at peace with God.
